The United States Postal Service is having a national contest for the best produced video. The Utah District has teamed with Rapid LLC to create a three minute video. The video was shot at the Sandy Main USPS branch. It featured local USPS employees discussing programs like Click N Ship and Customer Connect.

Also featured was a letter carrier from the Sugarhouse branch.

The video was shot on DVCPRO-50 and edited at Rapid Post on a Velocity realtime NLE. One usual requirement was the addition of captioning for the hearing impaired. Our post production staff worked closely with USPS managers to insure the video was exactly what they required. Several rough cuts resulted in feedback which the editors used to create a short but stunning production. The finished production was output to VHS and DVD.
